New at Shear Attraction is a variety of smoothing services. Pravana, our house brand, has 3 new products in their texture control line. There are 3 different levels: temporary, demi-permanent, and permanent, and are listed below in that order. They vary in application time, cost and longevity.

Shear Attraction is a full-service hair and beauty salon located in Bangor, Maine at 657 Hogan Rd in the Maine Square Mall. We serve both women and men in a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. We proudly provide the following services >
- Men’s and Women’s haircuts, hair coloring, and styling
- Formal styling/up-dos for any special occasion such as weddings or proms.
- Plus other services such as waxing and scalp massages
Walk-ins are welcome, but we recommend you call the salon at 941.0005 and schedule an appointment with one of our stylists. Please tell us you found us online when you call or come in.
Starting Walk-in Prices*
- Women’s Cut $22
- Women’s Cut & Color $45 and up / $55 with foiling (partial $25 and up)
- Men’s Cut $15
* Stylists are independent contractors and allowed to set their own prices. Please mention these walk-in prices upon arrival and we will work to set you up with a stylist who will honor these prices. These are starting prices only. Prices will increase for special cirumstances (longer hair, special requests, etc).
